I’m delighted to be running this Making and Smoke Firing workshop at my studio in Winchester. The course will run over a period of 3 days – the weekend of February 1st, 2nd and Sunday 16th.

1st-2nd February, 9.30 am - 5 pm
On the first day of our weekend together I’ll introduce you to hand building techniques for making vessels including coiling, pinching and kurinuki. You will also have the chance to see how I work sculpturally by making and using formers for sculptural pieces. The 2nd day you will be finishing and refining the work you have created.

16th February, 10 am - 1 pm
Our final day together will be dedicated to smoke firing selected pieces in barrels.

This includes the 3 day workshop, all materials and firings.
